A long distance move can also be called a long haul or intrastate move*.
The difference between a local and long distance move is the way costs are calculated and routes are planned. Some movers subcontract out long haul moves, Cary Moving does not!
For both local and long distance moves, it is critical to have a mover that is licensed, bonded, and fully insured. Regardless of how far your furniture is being moved, you need experienced movers that properly protect, move, load/unload, and position your furniture safely on the truck. Your items must be properly positioned and stacked in the truck to ensure they do not move in transit. If boxes and furniture are not properly loaded on the truck, bumpy and winding roads can cause items to shift and damage may occur.
*Our long distance moves are limited to the state of North Carolina. We do have additional offerings for out-of-state moves. Please call us for further information.
